Bible Study

We have Sunday School classes for men, women, youth, and children on Sundays at 9:30am.
- We are conducting Sunday School series designed for all ages. We are drawing our way through the Bible with lessons from the Picture-Smart Bible. Please join us if you are able. Our current session covers the historical books of the Hebrew Bible:
  - 26 February - 1 Samuel
  - 4 March - 2 Samuel
  - 11 March - 1 Kings
  - 18 March - 2 Kings
  - 25 March - 1 Chronicles
  - 1 April - 2 Chronicles
  - 8 April - Easter Sunday: no class
  - 15 April - Ezra/Nehemiah
Come and join us at Crossroads for TableTalk, which is an open Bible discussion that ordinarily meets on the third Friday of each month at 8:00pm. Please feel free to bring your own questions or come and learn.
- Pizza (including a cheese/veggie selection) and pop (including a diet selection) are provided; please see Kevin Franco for further information or if you have special dietary needs.
Wednesday Night Bible Study ordinarily meets at at 6:30pm. The 21 March study is canceled in lieu of a congregational meeting scheduled for 7:00pm, on which see below.

Children's Ministries

We have a staffed nursery for infants and preschoolers as well as children's church for grades K-5 on Sunday mornings.
Everyone is invited to the Chicago Child Evangelism Fellowship 75th Celebration Banquet on Friday, 9 March, at Calvary Memorial Church located at 931 Lake Street in Oak Park. Tickets are $25 per person. A fundraising silent auction begins at 6:00pm; dinner is served at 7:00pm. For further information call 708-210-1673.
An Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, 7 April, at 10:30am. Children ages two through eleven are welcome to participate. We will also have a special egg hunt for those 12 to 15 year olds. Cathy Diblich is collecting candy and egg cartons for the hunt. Please see her for further information.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the week of Sunday, 8 July.

General Announcements

Our weekly deadline for announcements for our bulletin and website is Thursday at 6:00pm. Please send any new announcements via email at info@crossroadshillside.com or place them in the orange folder marked "Bulletin" in the church office.
Our deacons and elders ordinarily meet after Wednesday Night Bible Study on the first Wednesday of each month (approximately 8:00pm).
If you wish to know what it means to become a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, please see Pastor Mike after any of our morning services.
If you are interested in water baptism, please see Pastor Mike or Theresa Thompson after any of our morning services.
We conduct a prayer breakfast at Crossroads the first Sunday of each month at 8:15am; all are welcome to attend. Please see Stephanie Franco for further information.
A congregational meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 March, in lieu of Bible study. We will meet at 7:00pm to discuss the past year and to set the vision for 2012. Please email any church-related questions to info@crossroadshillside.com; choir practice will take place after the meeting ends.
Tract Sunday is coming! On 25 March we will participate in an outreach led by Al Bonness. We encourage everyone to use these tracts and witness to someone they would naturally meet. For more information go to www.tractsunday.org.
On Sunday, 1 April, Crossroads turns six years old! Please plan to stay after service for a special church dinner - further details will be provided soon.
A Good Friday service will be held on 6 April at 7:00pm.

New Members' Class

New members' classes are periodically held for those interested in church membership. If you have questions about becoming a member of Crossroads, please see Pastor Mike or Theresa Thompson.

Women's Ministry

On Saturday, 25 February, a women's fellowship theatrical event will take place. We will attend the play The Secret of the Alabaster Box put on by Overshadowed Productions at Itasca Baptist Church, 210 South Walnut Street in Itasca. The play begins at 2:00pm with dinner following. Tickets are $10.00 for seniors 55 and over and $12.00 for adults. Please sign up as soon as possible; see Stephanie Franco if you have any questions.

Worship Team

The Worship Team wants you! Men, women, and teens are invited to come out and sing or play an instrument. Please see our Director of Music, Daniel Stallings, after our Sunday morning service for further information.

Young at Heart

Our ministry for those 55 and older is ordinarily held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30am at the church. Lunch is served potluck style. Should you have any questions, please see Mattie Walker.
